CBP’s enhanced Form 5106 enforcement is now active
As of September 18, 2026, CBP may immediately void an IOR number if required Form 5106 information is inaccurate or incomplete. This applies to every IOR on file, new and existing. A stale phone number, a broker's address standing in for the importer's, or a POA that isn't executed directly with the IOR can create a filing risk.
